PUSH FOR OUTDOOR SMOKE BAN
Burbank residents are pushing the City Council to curb smoking in outdoor public spaces. Such a ban would follow in the footsteps of Santa Monica and Calabasas. LAT.

DEAR ABBY HELPS BURBANKER
Of course, 'tis impossible to know if the poor guy - using the pseudonym "Blackmailed in Burbank" - is a denizen of our fair city (there are Burbanks in Illinois and Santa Clara), but it's a good read nonetheless. Poor guy, really. Kansas City Star.
